Maybe...but here's the thing, Floyd is not getting any younger though. Isn't he a couple years older than Pac? I know both fighters are losing their speed, and I do believe that Floyd is smarter than Pac so he can adjust with less speed. Pac on the other hand relies on his speed (footwork & combos). But I'm not sure if waiting longer will benefit Floyd.

Also, Floyd is not doing himself any favor by not making a single comment. The sports media is torturing him now and I think that's highly unfair especially since we haven't heard a single word from FLoyd. But the media has no other choice but to speculate.

I don't think theres a major plan, eeven if its likely. Simple fact is Floyd has some serious emotional issues around the timing of this fight. Who knows what the judge will do to Roger? Floyd wants to make the fight happen when he has his team together and focussed and he knows people will talk about it if he says nothing.

I say he is just chilling and may say yes in the future but he has to be looking to salvage his rep right now. I saw the Mosley fight as a tune-up for this.

He won't be in the same shape if he fights Manny in May. We could get a tune up in the meantime. But who knows wtf is going on?

I seriously doubt it, the longer negotiations pan out with no success from one party (or both) public interest would dwindle considerably.

Everyone was expecting them both to come to terms for a deal right after Floyd defeated Shane when interest for the fight was at its peak, now it seems the let-down of the fight not coming in to works has turned off fans even further.

Who can be arsed waiting until 2011 for it though? Especially knowing full well that any date in 2011 will be May-July or Oct-Dec. It's not like it will happen in Jan/Feb/March. It's like over a year away.

November 2010 is prime and ready for Pac v May.
