The Vultures of the World's Media Are Diving

..and by tommorow they will be chewing on the bones of Floyd Mayweather's ego. It will have been completely digested by the end of the month. Floyd has to make a statement within the next two weeks or he lays low.

This will effect his legacy. Roger's trial date will come and go and then a month or so after that we will get some vague idea of what's happenning on this. If Manny retires in November its all over and May will have ***** branded on his reputation. This has happenned to a lot of great boxer's but they haven't been in the shape Mayweather has been when this tearing apart happenned. They usually pushed the limits of fighting too far.

    Has he become a Diva?

    Yes

    Does he deserve it?

I don't think so. He has bought a lot of game to the ring and deserves his reputation as one of the best. His trainer is coming up for a court case so he would not be properly prepared for a fight.

Pacquiao fought Hatton and De la Hoya when they were past their prime. He has never faced Judah, Castillo, Baldomir or Mosley. Bob Arum doesn't plan for him to do that either. So chicken could be decalred on either camp.

But the headlies will say in big letters:

    FLOYD DUCKED PACQUIAO

but thats not really the whole story...

RIP Boxing Reputation Floyd Mayweather Junior 1996-2010

If he had said he wouldn't be able to fight because of his uncle's court case most people would have seen that as a legit reason (no one would expect pac to fight without roach) . Instead he has stayed silent and hasn't refuted any claims by arum .

Oscar cherry picked manny from two weight classes below expecting an easy fight , and was a big favourite to win
Hatton fought mayweather at 147 lbs where he had looked crap against luis collazo , manny fought him at 140 lbs his best weight where he was ring champion ,

Mayweather will have known the PR risks unless he's completely deluded in regards to the public's general level of perceptiveness and their attitude towards him. Arum played him and the boxing world like a fiddle with these farcical "negotiations" - both times.

Mayweather's best shot at redemption now without bending over to Arum and Manny will be taking on Williams or Martinez, high risk fights but each offering great fiscal and legacy rewards. He will one-up Pacquiao just like he did the first time with Mosley and hopefully regain his edge.

I think David Mayo (Grand Rapids Press) and Tim Smith (NY Daily News) are the only legit journalists defending Floyd right now.

The rest had crucified or will crucify him.

I wonder what kind of article is brewing on Ronnie Nathanielz' computer

If you got a TEAM that built a champ you don't want that team to be going through a court case family problems in the run up to a fight,

bottom line is u a ******* who can't make sense of a situation when even the lowest slimeball in the sport, making dumb low money matchups for the camp u back, says the case was a factor.

Dan Rafael hates Floyd. Did he crucify FMJ?

The peasants woke up this morning feeling very unsatisfied. They had hoped that the world would have turned against Floyd. Instead, they witnessed everybody sayung how Arum pulled a publicity stunt as Arum was forced to admit that he didn't negotiate with anyone from Floyd's team, and that he lied about dealing with Schaefer.

...and the "deadline" wasn't really a deadline.

                LMAO.

I don't really get that Floyd died because he failed to meet Arums exclusivity deadline?

Most of the boxing journalists **** on Floyd most of the time so it is not a streach to think most would go off on him, fair enough when a big fight doesn't happean everyone deserves their heat.

Even so what does the heat of all boxing media bring 1 BTU? What are they going to do not cover his next fight if it is not Manny (doubt that), will HBO not produce his fight because the boxing media is upset (LOL), are they going to pick him to lose (mostly no), will that fight do big business (depends on who but should do just fine), are they going to say how great he is when he wins (yes), will they hate on him shortly after (yes). Oh **** they won't vote for him to win their awards, but Floyd has won them and even if they don't respect him that much he will still go into the hall of fame first ballot.

all of this is a BULL****, the people who hated Floyd long before this will hate him more other then that nothing will change, when he fights again people will still tune in

he will address all of this eventually I am sure, it is two sides to every story, it would be ****** for the media to just go by what Arum is saying with out hearing what Golden Boy Promotions and Mayweather have to say about this situation

but of course the people who hated Mayweather ANYWAY will come out and say "Mayweather is scared" blah blah blah

lol if people really think Mayweather cares what a bunch of guys who never boxed before is saying
