      Yeah.

I like the baby steps increments for Miguel to be at the top of his game again.

As much as we wanted it, Margacheater's busy garnering enough balls to even talk to the CSAC for mercy.

          That's very true..

but I don't want to see Cotto take too many easy fights and rebuild a false confidence..he needs to be tested..I'm down with an Angulo, Dzinzurnik (sp?), Cintron, etc

those are fights that are tough but very winnable for Cotto at this point..

Mundine mentioned to fight any top fighter is a joke. He's been in line to fight top guys for year and it never happen. I'd love to see Mundine get KO'd.

All the article was saying is that the Mundine fight might be sanctioned by the WBA for their interim title. According to their rules, the winner of a bout for an interim belt gets the next shot at the guy with the full belt. Basically, the winner of the Mundine fight would become Cotto's "mandatory" challenger. Firstly, I dont really see how you can have a bout for an interim title holder when their currently is a full belt holder, and the guy is not on the shelf. Second, does anyone REALLY think that Miguel Cotto is gonna fight a mandatory challenger at 154 just because the WBA tells him to? I am sure he would gladly dump the belt for a bigger fight.

if the WBA force cotto to fight one of this guys is easy vacate the title. titles= ****. but knowing the WBA they would rather have 3 champions in the same division the full champion, the interim champion and the regular champion, more fees more money. cotto only wants the big money fights.

cotto at this moment should fight credible opponents like berto, spinks and dzinziruk. he shouldn't not go back to fighting C and D class fighters that bring nothing to the table like this guys. but he shouldn't fight guys like pacquiao mayweather or martinez neither.

he needs to get his confidence and his swagger back, more time with steward would help also so i think he should take a fight with a B+ class fighter. some say anculo yes he's exciting but to me angulo is still a prospect, he lost to cintron and he's not even a champion. if he beats one the champions then yes i want to see that fight (please shaw make angulo-dzinziruk!!! i know HBO will pick up this fight). but in this particular time in my opinion he brings nothing to the table in terms of legacy for miguel.

They already have an interim 154 'champion'... the Japanese fighter. Fact is we in Australia have heard all of this before and know not to take a word of it seriously. Mundine is forever on the precipice of landing the fabled Big Fight. It's always just around the corner, or next year, or later this year. He's just got to beat the bum in front of him first. Well then it turns out he's got to beat another bum and then another bum after that.

Yeah, Miguel Cotto will fight Anthony Mundine.

Nah, sorry, something about that sounds wrong.
