The bolded is so true. Folks use JMM as a scape goat sometimes, without really knowing what they are saying.

People bash Pac about those fights all the time, yet they don't understand WHY JMM is a bad match up for Pac.

It has a lot to do with what you just said, but I will go a step further. Pac is a window shopper...Always has been! When Pac lands a good shot on a fighter, or combo, he will stop and see what sort of damage he has done. Most fighters turn tell after getting cracked by Pac. Anyone who knows JMM, knows that is the wrong thing to do against him...When he is cracked, or even hurt for that matter, he will fire back ASAP (somtimes with like a 4 to 5 punch combo...See the first round of the Diaz fight for this example also)!!! You can see in both fights, that gave Pac so many problems...It wasn't even funny.
If you really believe what you just said then there is no reason for Pac to fight Mayweather because he would stand NO CHANCE!! You should know that everyone who gets a good hit on floyd gets destroyed. Corley, Judah, Mosley. I know a lot of people think that Pac will knock floyd out but come on let's be real. He knocked Marquez down 3 times in the 1st round and couldn't finish him. Not only that but pretty much got dominated the rest of the fight. The reason why I don't care to see this fight is because I know Floyd will dominate him and he wont even get the credit. With Pac being a congressman now and coming from even smaller weight classes than floyd he will get a pass and floyd no credit. They'll say Floyd was supposed to do that. and then pac can retire and ride off in the sunset with his head held high. And these clowns will be calling for Mayweather to fight Chad Dawson or something.

JMM counter style is nothing like Floyd's....That was sort of my point. Folks seem to want to use JMM as a crutch for what Floyd might do, but there are reasons JMM did what he did. Combo's being one of those, something Floyd no longer does.

We cant really be so hard on Pac until we find out who Floyds fighting next. The article forgets to mention that their not fighting in the US because of Margs License, If he was able to get a License in NV then obviously they wouldn't consider anywhere else.

FLOYD is looking like a SCARED LITTLE ***** right now by being quite and having no response to the PAC vs FLOYD proposal. First PEDS, then more than 50/50, now supposedly about a possibly missing ROGER. I guess we'll really know if he's scared if he doesn't fight in MAY.
The trial for Roger is set for August 2. So what does Arum do, set some deadline when he knows Floyd wont take it to make him the 'bad guy' this time. Then he will take Manny on a world tour where he will gain more respect (in some circles) by beating Margarito to a pulp.

Let me put it to you this way- if you worked your ass of for 10 years for the same guy and he still wanted nearly 30% of your paychecks all the while denying you your greatest money making opportunities would you listen to him 4 YEARS later after you have made a few hundred million without the guy?

I wouldn't and most reasonable people wouldn't either. As for all of you morons that continue to call Floyd a ***** understand this- Bob Arum tells Manny Pacquiao when and where to f#$k kind of like a *****, Floyd is at least his own pimp. Get your facts straight learn more about the business because Bob Arum is a f@$king crooked son of a *****.

41-0 obviously he found out he doesn't need to throw combinations. Obviously Marquez is gonna throw combinations because he's pissed off he was just blasted in the face. But Floyd don't really get hit like that so he's just using the Pull Counter. Skill wise Pacquiao has no chance. I just don't see how you believe Pacquiao's skill set is anywhere near Mayweather's.

Bro, now your just going all over the place.

                1) I never said his skill set was anyway near Floyd's, but to dubt Pac has a high skill set is just ******.

                2) Floyd's record has nothing to do with what I was talking about. You took a statement I made about the JMM fight and turn it into something else.

                3) I don't believe I have ever given you my opinion on how the fight would play out.

                4) It's not just the pull counter...Floyd's only combo that he throws nowadays, is to the body, then right back to the head. Thus, he is pretty much a one punch fighter. Without one punch KO power. JMM counters in flurries, Floyd in one punch...There is a difference.

                5) If you think that cause JMM gave Pac problems, that means Floyd will white wash him, fine. That is your opinion.

                6) JMM and Floyd are nothing alike...This can't be held over Pac's head as such.

                7) What was the point? Do you want to debate on who would win the fight? If so, just say that. Fishing though my statements is not the way to go about it pimp...

hehe true. but people always wanna compare floyd's fights with de la hoya and hatton to pacquiao's so why not compare the marquez? all i'm saying is i don't have the same desire to see this fight as everyone else because i feel it will be extremely lopsided and floyd will get no credit that's all.

FLOYD should fight now while he's in his prime.

FLOYD finally got a little respect from BOXING FANS when he decided to fight 1 of the top 3 in his own class by fighting SHANE MOSLEY.. but now the he avoided the FLOYD vs PAC match.. his reputation is back to being SCARED ****LESS..

Forget what you think everyone else will do, I can tell you right now, I will give Floyd nothing but respect for beating Pac.

I have given him nothing but respect on all of his wins ( not cause of who he beat, but how he beat them). I respect all fighters! Even if I don't respect their fans. Nothing will ever change that for me.

Floyd is a great fighter. Pac is a great fighter. I happen to think this will be a great fight!
