It's all a bit of a charade. I keep asking why Floyd would have his team negotiate for a month if he wasn't going to sign. Why would Top Rank organise a midnight press conference to tell the world there is no fight.

You don't negotiate a $40m fight for a month and then back out. You don't call up the boxing press to tell them, at midnight Friday night, that the biggest fight in boxing is dead, and to come back next year... er but in the mean time we've got this guy who got busted loading his gloves, and another fellow who got knocked out last November. Doesn't work like that.

To me it looks like it's all part of the hype machine to promote May-vs-Pac. If there is no May-Pacquiao fight on November 14, yet all this bull**** with deadlines, clocks and press conferences is going ahead anyhow, a lot of people are going to look pretty ******.

On the balance of probabilities, I'm tipping a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight this year.

I hate belltown, man. We used to go to Belltown Billiards all the time. Haven't been in that area since Croc.

You're right, why a press-conf on a friday night just to announce that something everybody wants, is not going to happen.

Lets hope that the silence GBP and Mayweather been on is all part of the chirade, to get the people talking about a duck-job and then announce the fight as a done deal tonight.
