At the Bolton Arena in Bolton, up-and-coming British middleweight prospect Martin Murray (20-0, 7 KOs) has captured his first ever professional title (aside Prizefighter for sure) decisioning rough and tough Australian Peter Mitrevski Jr. (23-7-1, 11 KOs) over twelve one-sided rounds for the Commonwealth belt. The fight was mostly fought in close quarters where Murray used his mastership and quickness to get a slight but notable edge over limited Australian guest. All in all, it wasn't an impressive but rather a workmanlike victory ofr still improving Murray and yet another (expected) setback for Mitrevski. Scores were 120-108 and 120-109 (twice).
