Comments Thread For: Photo/Weights: Montiel 118-Pounds, Concepcion 118

WBO/WBC bantamweight champion Fernando Montiel and his challenger Rafael Concepcion were in very good shape as they easily made weight for Saturday's clash in Mexico. Both champion and challenger weighed in at the division limit of 118-pounds. The fight will be televised on the "Top Rank Live" series in the United States. Concepcion, a former interim-champion, is a late replacement for Eric Morel who withdrew last Friday with a leg injury. [Click Here To Read More]

I know styles make fights but I wanna compare Montiel's success against concepcion vs Donaire's. Donaire beat him pretty easy last fall, so I'm curious to see if Montiel can dominate him as well.

                WTF? How'd Concepcion make 118???

Against Donaire he claimed he couldn't drop anymore below 119.5

                What a little sneak...

it's kind of hard to compare, donaire just looks huge next to his opponents,i mean look at his fight against marquez, don't forget marquez went up in weight too, which make donaire just look even more bigger than he usually does,i think donarie vs montiel is interesting, but still donaire is so big, which is why i think he'll win,not because he's better, but because he's bigger and when you're bigger well he'll take punches a lot better, just like he took marquez punches and his opponents feel donaires power,it's going to be like montiel is facing a featherweight
