    NEWSFLASH: Wladimir waits in line

Judge Rules Williamson is Chris Byrd's mandatory!
    By G. Leon
July 12, 2005 - Moments ago, Judd Burstein informed **********.com that Judge Martini has upheld the IBF's decision to mandate DaVarryl Williamson as Chris Byrd's mandatory challenger. Former WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, who sued the IBF trying to enforce himself as mandatory, will have to wait in line. According to Judd, his nephew Devin Burstein, who represented Williamson, played a prominent role in the judges decision. REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (10:00 AM EST)

I believe this is great, I feel that Williamson was more deserving because he fought better opposition and was more active and the Klitschko fight was really insignificant in the decision. Either way, great move and I am excited to see Williamson vs Byrd, Williamson might actually be the one to steal it...Call me crazy but I think it will happen.

Also, it is about damn time the Klitschkos doesnt get there way. They are on a path to destruction...WBC is enforcing Vitali to fight the winner of the Barret/Rahman fight.

...Yep, bull**** decision. More King influence freezing out the brothers. I can see Byrd and his wife dancing around hand in hand because he doesn't have to get embarrased by WK again. Wlad needs to look to a top ten guy now and try to make some noise. The problem is that he is high risk and still kind of low reward at this point.

Since the Klitschko fight, Williamson has fought for a IBF ranking against Jefferson and fought Oliver McCall and Klitshcko has fought a blown up Cuban that carried no significance.

The whole situation would be looked at differently if Klitscko fought the same opponents as Williamson. Everybody knows Wlad going to court is a ***** move.

Say what you want about Wlad Klitchko (personally I think he is all thru as a real legitimate unification threat) but to say that TOS has fought better opposition is just being blind.

Wlad has beaten, check that whipped Byrd once already, he absolutely destroyed Monte Barrett, made Jameel McCline look like a ***** but yet you say Davaryl has foguth the better opposition.

Maybe if you think guys like Robert Wiggins and Derreck Jeffferson are better than you are right.

Yup Wlad was iced by Brewster and Sanders but Williamson has been ced by Mesi and I dont know who.

          Williamson fought better opposition, WRONG!

Neither man deserves the ranking, RIGHT!

...Yeah, that one I can't figure out for the life of me. There were also a ton of people on here saying that Castillo was the real deal and he was gonna beat Wlad blah blah blah. Then after Wlad beats the guy he is a blown up cruiser and he ******. lol lol lol Good luck for Wlad getting a decent ranking when the IBF comes out with their new updates. He is gonna drop like a rock. This may just freeze him out of ever coming near a title shot again.

I don't like Chris Byrd, I think he is overated and over prices himself.
