Honestly Larry....the Foreman that KTSO (knock the **** outta) Moorer would take out Lewis....A Prime Foreman would definately take Lewis out in less than 6.

That jab, that over hand right and that crab defense.....Foreman by wide UD or late round KO. That's just me....

george foreman was one hell of a puncher but he was pretty slow for a 215, 220 pound fighter. he wasn't a very technically skilled fighter either. he overpowered his opponents.
i agree that if he found lewis' chin he'd knock him out cold.
however i'd say lewis takes it because he had the physical advantages in size, weight and reach and he was a better technical boxer.

I'd say Lewis was a good enough boxer and had enough power to beat George. But if George landed a bomb then it's all over.

            It's 50/50 for me.

They could both beat eachother, it just depends which version turns up on the night.

Not surprised to see so many people overrating Foreman. People don't realize that Foreman was used to being the bigger man but would have given up a few inches and 25lbs against Lewis. Lewis was also far more skilled and had a better jab. Foreman also had stamina issues, even as a young'n. Foreman would have a puncher's chance of ending it early, but my money would be on Lewis to take over and dominate from the mid-rounds on.

you guys are overrating the guy that went life and death with Ron Lyle; got outslugged by Jimmy Young and got 1 punched by Cassius Clay.

lennox by brutal KO 8 out of 10 times. too much skill. straight punches beat looping ones. too much size(250 lbs vs 218 lbs).

Foreman despite being smaller was actually slower. he's a plodder that throws wide. as long as lennox moves and is smart he would smoke Foreman out.

foreman = 6'3.5, 220 lbs in his prime

lennox = 6'5, 250 lbs in his prime

despite all that. Lennox is faster with better footwork and better boxing ability. power is a toss up but lennox will land more as straight shots beat wild swings from the hips.
