two different defensive stylists. floyd uses distance, timing and the philly shell about as good as anyone i've seen. pernell was the best at standing in the pocket and flat out making you miss. i would say overall floyd probably gets hit clean less than pernell did but he also takes less offensive risks. they are definitely in the same league tho.
