it had been a while without hearing about this

LOS ANGELES, CA -- James "The Harlem Hammer" Butler, Jr., will stand trial on charges that he used a hammer to kill journalist Sam Kellerman and then torch his Hollywood apartment last October.

There is enough evidence on arson and murder to try James Butler Jr., said Judge Kevin Brown, during a ruling held yesteray.

Kellerman, 29, was found dead in his apartment on Oct. 17, 2004, but according to officials the crime took place five days prior.

Sam Kellerman was the younger brother of well-known boxing journalist and host of Fox Sports Net's boxing program "I, Max," Max Kellerman.

Butler, 32, had a professional boxing record of 20-5, and is best known for sucker-punching Richard Grant in November 2001 after a purse match.

If Butler is indeed guilty then the man should be spending the rest of his life behind bars. I usually am pretty ******* about stuff like this, but what Butler did was just plain cold-blooded. The Kellermans will never have that hole in their family filled, and all because Sam was trying to help him get back on his feet. Not only that but Max had nothing but nice things to say about him after he got out of prison and got worked by my boy Omar Sheika on FNF's! It is just a shame and was a terrible thing to have happen to anybody.
