    Forbes: Floyd the second highest paid Athlete in 2009

    the highest
    grossing athlete
    in the last 12
    months
    according to the
    reports of Forbes.

    Forbes, in its annual list of celebrity earnings said,
    World's richest athelete Tiger Woods made about
    $105 million in 2009, even after Woods lost $5
    million in endorsements in the past year. Boxer Floyd
    Mayweather made $68 million in 2009 whereas
    Michael Jordan still earned $55 million. Football stars
    Cristiano Ronaldo $36 million and David Beckham
    made $44 million and Lionel Messi's earning was $40
    million.

    Tennis star Serena Williams earned $20 million
    whereas her elder sister Venus Williams made $16
    million. World no. 15 in Women's Single, Maria
    Sharapova $25 million and Justine Henin made $13
    million. In Men's section of World tennis, Roger
    Federer earned $43 million.

    Dale Earnhardt Jr grossing was $34 million, Alex
    Rodriguez $36 million, legend cyclist Lance
    Armstrong made $20 million. Manny Pacquiao
    grossing was $42 million and Derek Jeter was $30
    million in 2009 according to Forbs report. Kobe
    Bryant earned $48 million, Danica Patrick $12
    million. Young golfer Michelle Wie made $12 million
    as annual grossing in the last 12 months according
    to the reports of Forbes.

          Its not the calender 2009, its from their own date, i think may 2009-May 2010

          The Mosley fight was included so theres no way it was just 2009. In the 2009 calender year Pac made more money because he had 2 fights where Floyd had 1
