    David Haye vs David Tua

I have been hearing alot of talk that if Tua wins that his next opponent could be David Haye, is there any credibility to this as far as you know and how do you think it would end up?...i think Tua in 2000 would be a good fight but now haye would prob just out box him the way Byrd did.

Tua is too slow nowadays. Haye would be in danger for about three rounds and then Tua would be a sitting duck for Haye's bombs.

David Tua is currently ranked #2 by the WBO, once Wlad beats Povetkin Tua will be ranked #1, he will be the number one contender for that title currently held by Wladamir Klitschko.

David Tua is not ranked in the top 20 by the WBA, which David Haye owns that title.

Haye isn't even ALLOWED to defend against an unranked fighter by WBA rules, so the only way this fight happens is if Tua fights and beats someone highly ranked by the WBA, gets into the top 15 AND Haye decides to take a voluntary defence against David Tua

      Chances of that happening 0%

          I dont think so.

Haye is way faster than Tua was tonight, and will take advantage of that cracked chin.

Tua has had a great career and should retire.

            Exactly.

And Haye would eventually KO the current, slower version of Tua. Some experts say punch resistance declines in a boxer's late 30s.

But the Tua of ten years ago would KO Haye.

Tua will need to fight in an eliminator before he receives the WBO mandatory status.

Haye and Tua are by far the two most overhyped and overrated heavyweights in the world.

I dont hold that against him, Tua has had a fantastic career.

KOd Prime John Ruiz in 1 round
KOd Michael Moorer in 1 round
                    KOD Prime Maskaev in 11
                    KOD Hasim Rahman in 10

He stood in with undefeated Ike Ibeabucci like a warrior!

But a guy that short just cant continue to fight into his late 30s/early 40s. Hes gone farther than all the previous thunder/lightning guys: TYson, Marciano, Frazier and Dempsey.

As much as Id love to see that fight, It would be sad to see Tua get KTFO in the first round by a Hayemaker.
