Mayweather shouldve never skipped fights like a Morales, Barrera,Marquez, PacMan ,Casamayor,Larios or even Freitas befor moving up. He said he took out the smaller divisions and he did not fight these guys once. His first fight with Castillo was a sham but he did win yhe next bout vs Castillo,. Dude he clearly won both fights against Castillo, only the first fight was a little close. I've watched the first fight more then once & I can't clearly tell you that Mayweather won by at least 3 rounds. You have to understand that Castillo take a great punch, that is the only reason he didn't got KO by Mayweather. Coralles almost killed Castillo, but the guy was still standing. He has never been down. Mayweather don't hit like Chico, if he did he would've knocked out Castillo. Many people have ducked Mayweather, it's not Mayweathers fault, many boxers know how good he really is, so they really don't want to fight him. He's been looking for big fights & no one wants to fight him, if he never fights some of these guys, trust me it is not his fault. You gotta give it to Gatti, he took this fight. Now he lost to the best fighter in the world, no one respects Gatti anymore. They think Gatti was a bum, Gatti is a great fighter & it wouldn't surprise me if becomes a champ again.

you got that right. castillo had as much extra time as corrales to recouperate and he wasn't the one who got knocked down.

why didnt castillo jump on him when corrales got back up and keep the pressure on? was castillo still ditsy from being pounded by corrales in previous rounds?

when corrales got knocked down in that fight he never looked too hurt to go on.

castillo with his hands down and sporting the five mile stare looked way to fckd up to go on.

the ref did everything right. he took a point away from corrales for the mouthpiece ****. and he stopped the fight to protect castillo from becoming a word slurring vegatable.

Damn man, I have done pretty well staying out of this fray until now but I simply could not help myself. While I certainly share DiegoFuego's respect for Corrales, I do not share his lack of respect for Castillo and his fans. THAT BEING SAID- seriously, get over the first fight already. It is not like you see me constantly pumping that fight up, and the guy I was rooting for won. I mean, Castillo fans and Corrales fans alike need to realize that there is a rematch taking place in just a couple months. Whats done is done, and nothing is going to change the fact that Corrales spit out his mouth piece or that Castillo got knocked out. So why don't we just focus our conversation on the fight that is soon going to be taking place?
