isnt it floyd lets GBP to negotiate with top rank regarding this? isnt it oscar said before it almost done? meaning the contract is already good on both GBP and Top rank? and only signatures are left? if there is no nagotiation? why team May are silent?why not say arum is a big liar? why only *****s are saying that? why not team floyd?

If there is any truth in this at all, it is up to Floyd and his team to say so. Otherwise it will be taken as fact if it isn't disputed.

well what the **** is taking floyd so long? I mean he should at least send a counter-offer back to Top Rank.

          Tick, Tick, Tick...Pacquiao-Mayweather in 2010

Earlier today, Top Rank put up a countdown clock on it’s website(TopRank.com) as the deadline looms( Friday midnight) for Floyd Mayweather to put his name on the dotted line to face Manny Pacquiao on November 13th. Just judging by what Bob Arum has said recently and stuff like this, I think it’s a pretty clear indication that Mayweather will not put his John Han**** on the contract for whatever reason( which in reality, wouldn’t really upset Arum all that much)

If that is the case, Arum will then start working on Pacquiao facing Antonio Margarito, as he has clearly indicated the last week or so. But I don’t think for one second that bout is going to Mexico, the Middle East or Mars, if he want’s Margarito to get re-licensed in Nevada( eventually) I think part of that deal isn’t contingent on him fighting next in Nevada. The NSAC is taking the expected criticism of accepting Margarito back into the fold without getting the economic benefits of a Pacquioa fight, in my opinion.

But the clock is ticking as we speak.

          - With the expected crush of phone calls, Arum told me earlier that they are scheduling a conference call with reports after the midnight deadline passes on Friday night. I didn’t think Arum stayed up that late, anymore.

          - I was told that there were indeed issues with Joachim Alcine- who faces Alfredo Angulo on Saturday night on HBO- with his eyes and that he had to go to a retinal specialist to get cleared. But yes, the fight is on.

          - There has been a lot of talk about a Dec. 4th battle between Kelly Pavlik and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. but I was told that some of the Top Rank braintrust is hesitant to put Junior in so tough, so soon, and would like a few more bouts. Later on at the Wild Card, his trainer Freddie Roach confirmed that and he expressed concern about Pavlik’s right-hand, something that Chavez gets nailed with often.

Also, there was an issue with Cowboys Stadium on that particular date- the Big 12 Championship Game is scheduled for that evening.

I still think there is a good chance that this match-up takes place in 2011.( July 15th, 6:15 pm, Pacific)
