In a video statement posted early this morning on the K2 Ukraine website, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko questioned the courage of the seven-foot former champion Nikolai Valuev. Klitschko has tried everything in his power to make the fight, including a recent face to face meeting in Russia to present a $1.5 million dollar offer to Valuev in person. Klitschko said Valuev's team continues to make additional demands.

I agree with you on Joe Calzaghe, but this youre off. Its people like you who are preventing this fight. King knows what youre saying, hes listening to people like you, he knows he can milk a ton out of Klitschko, but the problem is it will never be enough. I know VItali should give him 2 mil if thats the only hold up, you know it, we all know it...even though Valuev deserves about 1 mil. Vits giving him a 500k premium. If he goes to 2, then itll become 2.5 and so on. King knows Valuev cant win, we all do, he also knows that this is probably the end for Valuev.

Last I heard King wants 2.5 or the same money that Vitali offered when Valuev had a belt.

Also int he same way you can say Vit wont make that kinda money without Valuev, Valuev will be gettling like .5 mil fighting anyone else.

the problem is he knows hes gonna take the beating of his life. He knows theres no point in being 1.5M richer if he cant spend it.
