Nonito is No. 4 based on skill, they haven't based it on who he's faced. Right now he shouldn't be on there.

However, if he beats Montiel then he deserves to be on there (around 8-10 or something) but to get to No. 4 i would have expected to see a rematch with Darchinyan, Hasegawa and Perez on his resume at least.

I don't see it either TS, he is good but is spending most of his career fighting tuneups.

I also think Donaire has tried to get big fights but has had a hard time landing anything. Hopefully that all changes real soon.
Vic was never a top 10 P4P fighter when Donaire beat him and Donaire did'nt make it on P4P list for a while after the win. Vic reached some top 10 rankings after the Mijares and Arce roll. Even after Donaire got the Vic win P4P lists pretty much had a combo of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Hopkins, Wright, Taylor, Vazquez, Rafa M, Calzaghe, Cotto, Hatton.

So who's to blame for the Vic re-match not happening? And even then.....I see him crushing Chinny AGAIN.....what would that prove? Definately want to see Nonito in there against Montiel, Hase...and MAYBE if he gets enough meat on his bones in the next 2-3 years....and if he's still in the same division....either JuanMa or Celestino.....

IF he somehow manages to get past all those fighters....I see another potential p4p matchup coming in the future....Donaire vs Gamboa.....maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself here....but one can dream.

He deserves the #4 spot skill wise IMO and it's not his fault if every one is afraid to face him, the dude's real sick. Who else goes 'experimental' on his fights? Adroit enough to win via orthodox or southpaw. Dude's a killer...

after pacman & floyd is pretty slim pickings after that. the winner of the super six definitely needs to be top 10 p4p. donaire is still living off the darchinyan ko who was p4p top 10 when donaire beat him. i think he deserves his ranking, how high or how low is debatable, but he definitely deserves his top 10.

he's super talented. after the darchinyan ko, all of the japanese figthers who held the 112 belts ducked donaire. he had trouble getting fights after that ko much like shane had trouble getting fights after the margo ko. he has beaten almost every kind of fighter that was willing to fight him. raul martinez was a young undefeated rising flyweight, donaire just dominated him. mthalane is a tough rangy south african who nobody wanted to fight & donaire beat him. marquez had a good record.

donaire is top 10 & rightfully so. people will find out soon enough.
