    Dawson Vs Bute 168

I saw this potiential match up in an article and if Dawson were to get past Pascal then 175 dont offer much to him.He has talked about moving down to 168.For Bute now that Pavlik is staying at 160 and that the super six is ongoing there aint many more top class match ups out there that the fans would want to see. This could be a very good match up.So who you got?

This is probably the biggest match up in boxing for me other then the floyd pac one (which Im not that interested in anyway).

I'd say dawson, but i'd prefer it slightly if bute won.

I think that at 168 Bute has an advantage,I think they should meet somewhere in between!!

Dawson comes in fight night at around 190

            He'd be drained at 168

            IMO Bute takes it

Anyone who has actually followed butes career knows that the Counter Upper to the body and/or head is his best punch, as he is a southpaw who likes to turn it under a conventional jab.

It's no coincidence that he landed it 3 times against Miranda before bringing it upstairs for the KO, or that he Put Librado out with it. If you've seen his Ko's, the majority are via said signature punch.

Immediately, his best weapon is stripped from him against dawson, another southpaw.

I also feel as though bute gets hit too cleanly, too often, and Dawson has the ability to spurt and go on long combinations from time to time that will for sure always win rounds unless bute is landing clean, meaningful hits.. which they both do.. but the chance of him doing so against dawson? unlikely.

I see dawson by UD in a very tactical match. I personally think pascal will surprise a lot of people though and assuming he recovers well after shoulder injury, it will not surprise me in the least if he beats dawson.
