Will you STILL respect Pacman if he fights Margarito?

Just for the record I don't necessarily think He should be matched with Cotto either. I think it would be a better fight this time around but there are other opponents out there. This is about boxing standing up against Margarito and Arum for trying to reward this cheating slimebag.

I'll still respect Manny, but i WILL definitely lose some respect for the above reason. 1st, margo needs to get his licence back, (no sneaking around the csac to get fights), then start at the bottom and work his way up.

More extra punishments you see what i'm talking about here? Why is this board so dumbed down on this subject?

I don't consider it "more, or extra punishments", I originally thought the same when i read the links re; margo's loaded gloves and the revocation of his license. I would think the same for any fighter that did this.

I seriously do not think a fighter should be rewarded with a huge payday with the worlds p4p best after what he tried to do, which he would have done if he didn't get caught, which, to me, is just as bad.

I also don't think this board is "dumbed down" as you say, but i do see some serious denial going on here. And before you throw my Cotto sig into this...don't.

I know there is no proof he used it against him, but it is my rightful opinion to think that he did, especially in the light that he actually got caught trying to use it against another fighter, i see this as throwing his entire career into question.

I think he needs to respect the licensing bodies and wait for a reinstatement before taking the fight.

It's a simple question, Manny has the power to choose not to fight Margarito, a man who was caught red handed trying to committ one of the worst acts you could do in boxing, load your gloves.

For me I lose respect for a man who is undeniably an ATG because unlike most fighters he can say no he is just choosing to look the other way.

What should he do , wait another year for a certain other boxer to make up his mind? Manny is a fighter, and by Nov 13th he will be at his longest inactive streak of his career. Paq vs Marg will be a good money fight, especially if fought in Mexico, and a good action fight. At least maybe Marg will get knocked out again.

A boxer must be active to stay on top of his game, so if there is no Pacquiao vs Mayweather "and i dont care why it wont happened" Pacquiao must find another man to fight. That is my opinion...
