    Unification.

Anyone else get bored of having 3 or 4 different champions, or is it just me?

yeah, sad but true, more belts = more $$$ for more fighters, unification fights are the most interesting & usually very competitive but even when we finally get one, the winner usually dumps one of the belts that they just picked up (see Winky-Shane, Hamed-Soto, Tyson-Seldon)

The champions often don't want to take risks in losing their belt (the fellow champions at their weight would be better than their usual opponents..).
