so pryor has a big puncher's chance considering that he is a KO artist. but anyway, i also see pryor giving pernell a very hard time to counter considering pryor's off footwork and awkward movement.

If prime Hawk can land solid on Pea, there's little doubt he'd follow up,
and without mercy. I have a sneaking su****ion that Pernell would be
****** about it --like he was ****** versus Oscar-- and somehow allow
the judges to reward Aaron simply for workrate.

It'd be a great fight to watch while it was on, but I believe it would l
leave a very sour aftertaste, once over.

I favor Whitaker by a decision.

I think Pryor definitely had the tools to get a decision, though I don't favor him. I can eliminate two outcomes immediately, neither of these guys has the ability to knock the other out. Both men have phenomal punch resistance when they get hit and prime Whitaker takes damn little damage anyway. I'm going to favor Whitaker by decision but Pryor live as hell. It'd be a great and intriguing match.

Pryor left himself too open, but then again I don't think Whitaker faced anyone with that kind of movement. Pryor would quickly step to your left/ right once he got off, leaving his opponents in an uncomfortable postion to punch out of. I'm still gonna go with Whitaker by U.D.

Pretty easy victory for Whitaker.Pryor wasn't in that class,in all honesty.

You're right,it shouldn't have been a split decision.Without question one of the worst decisions rendered in a title fight over the last thirty years.

Hinton made Pryor look like a complete idiot and yet was robbed of a victory.

Maybe it should've been a SD after all since I saw it differently from you, I thought Pryor won the fight by ending the fight strongly and winning the second half of the fight. Hinton definitely made him look bad and won quite a few rounds early on.

Because I can see it ending on an SD.
Anything short of a UD would spell controversy, and
                      me no like controversial decisions.
