I think something would have happened to Frazier's eyes (Luis Resto/billy Collins). Either that, or Frazier would have been knocked down. I can judge this by the savage punches ALi was hitting him later on in the fight. Frazier was practically blind at that point.

However, after the fight Ali was exhausted and did collapse briefly afterwards.

Another thing regarding Ali is I was watching the Thrilla in Manilla documentary, and they said at the end of the 14th round Ali was telling dundee to cut off his gloves cause he was done. But then Fraziers corner stopped the fight first.

What do you guys think of Ali that there were two fights in his career where he told his corner to stop the fight (1st Liston fight, then 3rd Frazier fight)?

well put yourself in his position..liston fight he couldnt see and his eyes were burning....frazier 3 was a war 125 degrees and he was on the verge of death....hes only human and humans can only withstand so much..only makes me appreciate him that much more..he walked the path most men wouldnt walk and payed the price..thats why they say...dare to be great..cause there's a price to pay for greatness
