So Cotto came straight from a loss to win a 154lb title?

I think Yuri won 1 round out of the previous 6 rounds prior to his knee buckling. Cotto was clearly in complete control of that fight.

You could tell he was rooting for Yuri, though.

how is cotto not legitimate at 154 lbs? did foreman get robbed? did arum pay someone to wack foreman in the knee before the fight?

Who said that? Are boxing fans really that dumb... Yuri Foreman wasn't going to do **** to Cotto, If Zab couldn't out run Cotto, Foreman definetaly wasn't and even if he had, Cotto would have still got the decision. They only way Foreman was going to win, was by knockout, which wasn't going to happen...But the TS makes some since, because Pacquaio can easily put another Division Strap on his wall and make everyone some money by blasting cotto out in a rematch at 154... Cotto, better not fall for the bull****...He should never ever ever, step in the ring against pacquiao again, he may go to the hospital on a strecther next time...

Floyd is my dude, I will always root for him in a match, but the homie does have a little bit of hoe in him... he knows pacquiao coudl make him eat his words...

My homie used to say "you don't ever want to fight a wild n*gga, because you can't hurt a wild n*gga, they are even willing to hurt themselves to hurt you" pacquaio is what we would call a wild n*gga because he took the De La Hoya fight with no hesitation, Cotto and Clottey...Meaning he knows he could lose but is still willing to fight, while I can see that Floyd is not willing to lose, he like to stack the deck in his favor...

I think secretly, he would prefer if Foreman won. ***s, more than any others, take care of their own. But yeah, it was a win-win for him.

Think about it: Why would Bob Arum want his cut of $1,000,000,000,000,000,000? Obviously, Bob Arum wants to spend his time promoting a **** fight between Pac and Cotto/Margarito for a fraction of what he would make against Floyd.

Open your eyes people! Why can't you understand it's a conspiracy to make less money!!!
Arum is the promoter of both fighters so he gets a share of 100% of the revenue instead of the 50% from a Mayweather fight, a fight against Cotto is a much smaller risk so Pacquiao can go on and earn Arum big money in future fights, if he was to lose to Mayweather Pacquiaos drawing power would take a hit.

i thought yuri could beat him tbh.

anyways big name and big money fighters usually gets multiple shots at titles. they usually don't have to earn it either. just how it is.

look at the biggest names and biggest money in boxing. look at how many title shots they get?

however......still don't know how john ruiz got so many damn title shots. i guess there's also something to being seen as beatable yet also having a solid name (i.e. john ruiz , manuel medina , etc.)

quite a lot of people thought foreman could beat cotto or give him a hard time.

                    i was one of them.

cotto was coming off a bad beating and people didn't know how much he had left. foreman was coming off the best win of his career against daniel santos.

Of course he's a legit champ. He beat the defending champ to win the belt.
