The Difference Between Ali And Mayweather
Muhammad Ali would call himself the greatest of all time. Ali would talk the most trash and he would back it up by fighting the best, even if it meant going overseas to face them. Ali never backed down from a challenge and he only wanted to fight the biggest and baddest heavyweights in the world. Ali did this because that’s what real fighters do, they want to prove themselves against the best in the world and to be called the baddest man in your division you must fight the baddest men in your division.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he is better than Muhammad Ali because he has never lost a fight while Muhammad Ali has several losses on his record. Mayweather talks a lot of trash but instead of demanding the scariest and baddest guys to fight he hand picks his opponents at the right time. With Floyd everything is about money, and preserving his undefeated record. He thinks if he calls himself the greatest then he will be considered the greatest, maybe in his own mind.
Ali proclaimed he was the greatest but the difference is Ali would actually show people he was “NO JOKE” and fight the fights the fans wanted to see to prove how great he is. Floyd Mayweather openly admits that he doesn’t care about legacy and only cares about money.
