Mayweather-Pacquiao under "Fair Terms"

Surely "fair" would be fighting under the same conditions that pretty much everyone in the history of the sport has fought under.
Either way, I really couldnt give a *** about these two anymore.Comment

None of this matters because Floyd is not gonna take this fight by Friday. this fight is not happening, and I don't blame Manny for moving on if Floyd doesn't want to fight.Comment

i want an original ost, the 7/24 365 days test not the useless 2 months test before the fight where the use of steroids/peds isn't as effective to use anymore.I know the topic has been done to death but I want a general consensus on this board. And I'd like to know what we all think before we hear what happens next. For now, let's stick to the facts. We know that a proposal has been sent to Team Mayweather, possibly with all the terms Floyd wanted, according to Arum. Also, according to Arum, GBP has signed off on the proposal. In February, Mayweather stated that subsequent negotiations would have to include full testing. In May, Pacquiao stated that he would fight under the 14-day cutoff period Mayweather had previously offered. Forget whether Arum has really sent over a testing proposal that both parties have agreed upon...what does NSB believe is a fair? Is it:
Full Testing
Mayweather has stated he would fight under those circumstances only. May be a bluff, may not. His case was made in May (that's a lot of May's) when he defeated the division's other serious threat, with both parties subject to full testing. The 1.4m PPV buys stamped his claim as the sport's biggest moneymaker. He has been agreeable to all other terms and, with his bargaining position, perhaps deserves to have his wish granted? Or no?
Seven Day Cutoff
A compromise between their two positions now. Surely, both parties would have no issue with this? If you feel they might, what are they?
14 Day Cutoff
While this position is dated, it is one Floyd posed before to Pacquiao. Ok, I'll be honest here...I was looking for a solid reason to write why this option was valid and I couldn't find one. I'm not joking :/. If there is a solid poster on this board who chooses this option, please state why. After that first sentence, I was genuinely stumped.
Decision time is Friday. It may come sooner. What sayeth NSB?Comment

14 days is fair enough. Fight fans are still waiting for something, anything from Floyd's camp, besides Arum's pronouncements.Comment

Yeah thats what im hoping for if the fight doesnt happen. I hope everyone just comes out and states the real reasons for the fight not happening. Though I truly hope the fight gets signed.Comment

How do we know the fight isnt signed already?
Maybe theyre waiting to make a big dramatic statement.

I'd say 7 days is fairest at this point, but honestly I don't care. If the fight doesn't happen, both sides deserve equal blame, both sides f***ed up, and both fighters will have a stain on their career.
It just doesn't look to me like either fighter is trying that hard to make the compromises needed for this fight to happen.Comment
