When will Nonito Donaire get over the Vic fluke?

Not only does this kid think he is the **** but major boxing heads think he is the truth. Get the hell over it, it was 3 ***ing years ago. Kid hasn't done **** and to rank him off one is absurd. When are we going to see this kid fight a legit fighter and guys his same size?

he has been calling for the big fights for a while now. so he seems just as anxious to prove himself as you are to see him disproven.

not only is he actually pretty good, to be a young boxer and NOT think you are the **** would be crazy. the ring is just serving as a truth machine in the end. if you still feel like you are the **** as you step out of it then you've obviously done something right.

It wasn't a fluke but I agree that he has done very little to earn a top 10 P4P ranking.

Paul Williams/Cabellero syndrome. If Doniare wants big fights, then fight guys your same size.

So you think that Donaire was losing the fight?

I wouldn't call it a fluke. I would call his ranking a fluke based on his accomplishments, but his skill set is hard to ignore. He's got the goods I think. Good power in both hands, decent foot and hand speed, good fundementals. Donaire is definitely for real, he just needs to fight some live bodies.

I don't agree with p4p ranking but I wouldn't call his fight with darchinyan a fluke. this guy is BS.

Settle down over one word. Maybe that fight wasn't a fluke but I sure wouldn't be taking Nonito in the rematch. This thread has more to do with Nonito fighting no one in the last 3 years and getting undeserved love from the fans and the writers. People complain fighters don't test themselves enough and Nonito is a prime example of this.
