QUESTION: If MAYWEATHER doesn't fight this year, why does PACQUIAO have to?

I keep seeing Arum saying that Floyd may not want to fight this year, and that they could do the fight next year. OK, fine. Makes sense. No hassles.

But why does Arum keep pressing for a Pac fight against another opponent? Pac has been on a much busier schedule, he has more money than God, he is younger and both Pac and Floyd would be coming off the same period of inactivity.

Plus, Pacquiao is presumably busy and challenged with his Congressional seat. He does have a political schedule....right?

Perhaps someone can educate me. Maybe a Filipino who is more knowledgeable about the process and schedule of a congressman.

Can't both Floyd and Manny just take time off and do the fight in March, 2011?
