  • Bad matchup for Pacquiao. This could be a very dangerous fight for the Pac Man.

Plus if Arum was trying to *** Floyd over, wouldnt Floyd have come out by now and just ripped the **** out of Arum for doing that?

Plus i never knew the clottey fight had any "su****ion" over it
I know Bob Arum is a saint...but matching up his most prized fighter in decades against Clottey who had his guard up since the dressing room just doesn't seem right. Cowboys Stadium was not beautified for the event of Pacquaio losing to the dude who lost to Cotto, to a guy who isn't marketable in any way.

Nevermind that interview he gave BS where he just seemed weird and telling the author that there are things he'd share that he wouldn't believe off the record.

Either way...I think this is all just weird that Arum and Co. are giving ultimatums to Floyd and just playing games. These negotiations just don't feel genuine. But hey, Pac/Margarito for the WBC title in the middle east...what's not to love

        • If this is what we have to see then F$#@ it... Im blaming Floyd for not making the biggest fight of the decade from happening.. What happened to boxers putting it all on the line, taking big challenges, proving who is better.. Floyd is a skillful boxer YES, but he lacks the above....

If Pac vs. Margarito happens please have it at Staples Center, Los Angeles.

            Maybe you miss this one.

Arum and Koncz said they were hopeful Mayweather would accept the deal, but that they had to be prepared in the event he doesn't. Arum has said for weeks that Mayweather's camp has a contract for the fight and that Pacquiao has accepted the terms, including provisions for drug testing (blood and urine) leading up to the bout.

            • this is arums another ploy in drum beating floyd to wake up and agree to fight. floyd still got a couple of days to break his silence. i believe pac-floyd fight is arums top priority and this pac-marg fight is just another option if floyd chooses not to fight.

relax people, don't loose hope on this fight, just a couple of days more of waiting.

if floyd would'nt respond, it's up to you how you will consider floyd's credibility as an elite fighter....peace

But he could do to Marg what he did to Oscar, depends on how Marg's traning camp goes and how he looks on fight night.

what? listen to yourself....mosely knocked marg into next yr and floyd whopped mosely @ss.

                Y dont pac fight mosely?

y dont pac fight martinez and beat the man whom earned the belt instead of fighting a bum for the belt?

y dont he fight williams at 154 or 147?

pac fans will excuse anything this guy does.

                    • If this happens I won't be getting it, what a complete crock. This to me is a total sham by Arum trying to milk every penny out of Manny before he faces Floyd. He's going to face Margs, and even worse Manny is going to accept the fight. Firstly, people hate on Cotto because he got blasted by Manny but his next fight at least he faced a title holder. Marg's was KTFO by Mosley then has a fight in Mexico which about 3 people saw and that he nearly got KO'd from gassing out. I can't wait for Arum to die, he is the reason boxing is in situations where guys won't fight each other. I don't even think its Manny and Floyd with the issue, its Arum who simply hates Mayweather because he left him and Arum is missing out on the money Mayweather has brought in. Think about it, if Manny and Floyd were both with Top Rank this fight would have been made last year.
