oscars victory over fernando vargas extended his career about 6 years longer than it would have been more than likely, that should tell you something about where his career was headed.

I agree, is like people want to put Oscar on ATG level... He is sure fire HOF'er no doubt about it... But, so is Calzaghe. But, neither are ATG fighters... So it baffles me that people put him on the level of Pac or Floyd for that matter.

promoters greasing sanctioning bodies...happens all the time. still there should be a rule about having to campaign at a weight to be ranked there. if these two fight for the vacant belt it will be cheating other more deserving fighters at that weight class the opportunity. arum just wants a belt on the line to help promote the fight to the masses and jose sulaiman is a cancer to the sport...so he'll let the **** go down for the right amount of $$$.
