I'm just throwin this out there...

Say Pac vs Floyd doesn't get made and Cotto vs Pacquiao II happens. By some chance that Cotto beats Pacquiao, what does that do for Floyd and what do you think his next move would be?

Well then Cotto becomes an option...but I don't think Mayweather wants to work with Arum again. So it depends on how interested Mayweather is in facing Paul Williams or Martinez.

I voted retire but it would be typical Floyd to try and get a match with Pacquiao. Though I think Pacquiao will retire the moment he loses, or within the next couple fights.

I think he'd sit around and wait for Pac-Cotto 3 to happen....which it would. Then fight the winner.

Though I think he should then fight Cotto being those are the two top draws in Boxing with Pacquiao out of the picture and it's a fight a lot of Boxing fans have waited to see, I got a feeling he'd have another brief retirement and maybe wait to see who comes out of the 140s alive and challenge them at 147 or vice versa.

What still makes me believe though that Floyd will sign the contract is the risk of losing out on a mega fight. Because if Pac loses, there goes Floyd's $40+ mill. and he won't get it with Cotto, the next best option.
