pac threw 838 punches for 10.5 rounds against barrera 1st time or around 80 punches average per round. i think the only pac fight that can top that was against clottey.

the 112 division stats is incomplete. it's only from 4 fights.

he's been pretty consistent 130-147 as far as punch output.

the big difference is the guys at 140-147 get hit more even though he throws a similar number of punches.

that is not surprising given even tho pac isn't as fast as he used to be at 130 lbs and lower, he is a lot faster than most WWs. add that to his southpaw stance and angles and pac is a tough mofo to beat.

The same way a much larger Paul Williams is able to maintain it, the same way a much larger Antoni margaito was able to sustain it. Stamina foo!!!

Did you mean how many punches did Many throw, or how manny punches did Many throw, or how many punches did Manny throw? Just bs'in, seriously, I dont think he threw as many then as he did against Clottey. The reason for this is that when Manny was fighting at 130 he was cutting weight to make 130 and fighting at about 144 on fight night. Since moving to welterweight he weighs in at about 144 and fights at about 148-149, he no longer has to cut weight, which means he is in a lot better shape and has more stamina on fight night in comparison to his former self and most other fighters today. I beleive you will soon see other top fighters using the same tactic of fighting at their natural weight as opposed to cutting weight.
