There wouldn't be any reason to hate on Lopez if he just fought the best and he had better fans that repped him. Marquez has like a 80% KO percentage his only recent losses were wars with another great fighter, his three other losses happened in his debut fight and two over ten years ago. He is 35 not 40 and is STILL a great fighter.

Sure you can say that now $$$ wise with Marquez but what about the previous 2 years??? Every single opponent for the past 2 years JuanMa fought would have made more money than cab? Don't think so...

look dude u don't really understand the business side of boxing let me tell what happen in the juanma-cab negotiations. cab was tellin everybody that he will fight juanma for free that if he had to pay all these sanctioning fees from the 3 different alphabet organizations (WBO,IBF,WBA) to get a fight with juanma he will do it. arum offer him $150,000 (obviously not enough money but in that particular time it was cab's biggest payday) juanma would've got like $250,000-300,000 the same amount of money (maybe lil bit more) he was gettin fighting guys like mtwaga penalosa medina if u don't believe me remember juanma has a huge fan base.

then cab's managers said hell no that $150,000 was too low because he will give away 9% of his money to these sanctioning fees and consequently there was not enough money for them so we got no fight.

u got 2 understand that every fighter that has a title (WBO WBA IBF WBC) by obligation needs to pay 3% of his money to the sanctioning body that he represents, they don't give u this crappy belts for free. so a fighter that has 3 belts by obligation needs to give away 9% of his money and a fighter that has 4 belts needs to give away 12% of his money to these bull**** sanctioning bodies. plus the fighter also gives a certain % of his money to the promoters, trainers, cutman, etc. don't believe that all the purse they get from a fight is for them.

so i think this is the perfect moment for them to fight because they are also natural featherweights. they were struggling a lot to make the superbatamweight division.

I made a poll asking everyone if Juan Ma made the right move in fighting Marquez and like 90% believed he made the right move.
A few uneducated thug mentality's believe Juan should fight CC for less money and less recognition.
If people are fans of CC then they should believe he will be around for a while, and surely the fight will be made, when it makes sense.
I dont hear anyone slamming Gamboa either....and thats fine because anyone with a half a brain knows that Gamboa is doing the right thing too.

Look I want to see lopez fight caba or gamboa as much as the next guy but to say he is fighting bums is disrepectfull, not to him but tge sport in general. He fought leavano for his wbo belt when leavano was the ring number two guy currently number five. He koed ponce de leon in 1 round who is currently the number 8 guy in the div. He just beat comcepcion which is currently the number9 guy and he's going to fight marquez who is the current number 10. Juanma has said that if he beats marquez he want john next. Ao has has faced three of the top ten is going to face a fourth and is willing to fight the number one guy but he still gets no respect from the haters. You don't have to be his fan but give the guy a brake.

Cab has to get his name known out there...more publicly...he needs to assault the ring after a JuanMa fight and call him 'maricon' or 'puto' on live TV...or crash the post-fight conference and just berate him in front of the media...the war of words through print is meaningless...make this **** live and in person. Clubber Lang style, JuanMa would either fight in the name of pride or live in shame

No1 cares about CC. A lot of people care about Marquez and our rivalry with Mexico. His biggest fans aren't even fans of him. Just a group of Juanma haters that wanna talk trash. Lol. And im glad Marquez had a easy fight with Vazquez, that eliminates ppl saying Rafa is all beat up, worn out etc. He has miles on him but that's what makes a future hall of famer.
