I always thought of Pacquiao as the challenger in this one.
    1. Announcing his return the day of Hatton-Pac

    2. Offering to pay Marquez step-aside money if Pac was willing to replace him.

    3. Offering 50-50 when everyone said he'd price himself out.

    4. Offering a compromise of 14 days even as they went to mediation

    5. After Team Pac said negotiations were off, releasing a statement that he would still like to make the fight.

    6. Throughout it all, offering little in the way of the media, doing his best to honor their agreement of silence.

IMO this is what killed the fight first time round. I find it quite strange why Pacquiao refused the first time and accepted a dead offer the second time. Seems like a lack of confidence to me.

Why do you think Pacquiao refused the first time?

Who knows? They just don't want the fight IMO. Why else - after hearing Floyd say "no more cutoffs" in February throughout May, would they re-propose a cutoff? Just makes no sense.

look at this funny guy. if mayweather wanted pac, he wouldve announce his jmmfight before the hatton fight. and why would jmm get the step-aside money? you think jmm would let slip a shot at one of the best fighters and his biggest payday to date?

and it was pac who bend over and offered a compromise to something that WASNT required by the commission, you make it sound like mayweather was the hero here you're not foolin anyone here bozo.

People forget that it wasn't just the cutoff date. Pacquiao wanted to basically shred the USADA protocol; asking for a limit on the # of blood tests, wanting to know when he would be blood tested on TWO of the THREE occassions he requested. WTF? Who does that? BUT A ****ING GUILTY MAN???

Naw man them Pinoy's are innocent.

He lost to Morales cause of the blood tests (which at first he blamed the gloves).

Pacquiao can never be guilty because the damn general public and media will always be on Pac's side.

Besides...the first fight fell through because PAC was afraid of needles....STFU TS and wait for the other side of the story to come out...lets hear the proposal...
