Tough call.
Both would be even bigger next year. I think Bob lets the Juanma/Gamboa fight simmer til next year's PR parade weekend in NYC and possibly puts it in an undercard (or co headlining) with Miguel Cotto (MSG or Yankee Stadium). That would be ridiculously dope.
Alexander and Bradley would be a great matchup, but at least one of the guys has to beat either Khan, Ortiz, or Maidana before they're labeled as best in their division.
i dont know about that neither guy is a cross over star yet and most casual fans really dont know either. by the end of this year after juanma fights rafa and gamboa fights rojas it will be one step closer to being a true superfight if both can get the wins.
Juanma has developed as a fighter, he is close to prime having fought some very good competition. Gamboa has not and I would advise him to contiue escalating the level of competition, he needs more variety and quality. If Im Jaunma's advisors I take the fight ASAP and tell Lopez to fight smart and let the KO come and considering Gamboa's chininess it likely would. So honestly I think that fight is premature although I am interested and it would be entertaining.
Bradley vs Alexander is somewhat of the same thing but Alexander is much further along when comparing him to Gamboa and both guys to me appear ready for a face off to see who emerges as the real cream. Even the loser will continue to be viewed as very, very good at 140.
lopez is the biggest name out of the 4 and biggest draw right now.
gamboa is better skilled than either bradley or alexander or at least has a better potential.
I would say Gamboa is the more talented of the 4 not the more skilled. Lopez and Gamboa both have built in audiences in PR and Cuba so would probably make them a bit more popular as well.
The styles, talents and respective popularity of Gamboa and JuanMa would make their fight a bigger more exciting prospective event.
