Stoppage was fine because of all the precursers. The hanging onto the rope, the knockdown that he claimed was a trip. His brains were scrambled, and the guy has tremendous heart to pull himself back up. Not only that, when he was stuck on the ropes and got clipped dropped his hands and leaned in, he looked out on his feet, recovered very quickly, but i think it'd have been stopped within 10 seconds of that, his hands weren't going to block many more shots.

Could have let it go for a few more seconds, but i think everyone would have been screaming "stop the fight" had that continued.

Give the dude a rematch, it was a hell of a war.
Next fight probably goes to lundy, unless molina got inside his head at all.

he made a FOOL of himself and hopefully he learned from it, all that crap he was doing in the ring was a damn embarrassment all the grabbing the ropes and throwing "Behind The Back Punches" lol I have never seen a Behind The Back Punch hahaha and all those extra unnecessary antics

however I do think Hank Lundy is the much better OVERALL fighter and he was dominating the match until he got caught, I think Lundy would win by Unanimous Decision in a rematch, BUT his trainers, managers and promoters need to get on him about the stuff he was doing, this guy already thinks he is Mayweather or something, the showboating was foolish, your in command! win and secure the fight first THEN leave the showboating and the trash talking until AFTER the fight

he clearly needed a Slice Of Humble Pie

lundy was going to get it even worse had the fight continued, especially up against the ropes, when he got hit with the bigger of the shots in the flurry his hands dropped, and had he been caught again, he would've gotten beaten even worse. it's more of his pride hurting than his face and body. i think the stoppage was a tad bit premature but the fact of the matter that lundy wasn't stopping the attack or firing back to allow the fight to continue.

bottom line is lundy wasn't prepared for a real fight, he spent too much focus and energy on running his mouth and not doing his road work......... his focus was on looking good and not winning the fight, this loss is probably the best thing to happen to him, only if he learns from his mistakes.

If nothing else, maybe he'll be a little less ****y before fights... tearing up the rankings and talking all kinds of crap. Just shut up and fight. And if you are going to run your mouth, make sure you don't leave yourself open to get clobbered. What goes around, comes around.

              He was done for.

The sequence where he held onto the ropes would make for a great GIF as he got himself smashed by 3 clean left hooks by acting like a dumbass.

Damn good chin and top notch recovery ability displayed by Lundy but he wasn't going to survive the final onslaught from Molina.

Absolutely. Watching the fight live I was thinking it was over right before it was stopped.

But it was a very good fight so a rematch makes sense.

I think the stoppage was fine. His hands dropped, and he wasn't firing back. That's all the ref needed to see. I'd like to see a rematch. It was a good scrap.

why are some saying the fight should have not been stop when its clear that his hands drop down to his sides any ref would have stop the fight at that point in time
