In a rematch, I would still pick Williams by late knockout.

At 6'1, 250, the guy is a tank, but to be a champion, you have to do more than just posess power.

Foreman was not that big during his first carrer, I think he was about 230, but he had better skills than Peter, and a gameplan that Peter should aspire to.

For Peter to be legit, he needs to fight a "cutesy" fighter that is not going to trade with him. He also needs a fight with a fighter with serious pop that will test his chin.

I propose a fight with James Toney, then a fight with Tua.

        hmmmmm

its a bit early to say much about peter.

he has devestating power, and i dont think wlad cant take it if he lands clean.

that beeing said foreman was better in all aspects, taller, better power, faster, better footwork.
        and foreman won the ol.

and that says a lot cause foremann wasnt exactly a slick fighter.

his chin i dont know about, but we will know soon.

the winner off wlad-peter should fight brewster, both alternative fights would be great.

if he develops a solid jabb he can be kinda like liston.

Peter reminds me of the 90's Foreman not the prime Foreman,Remember the prime Foreman was much smaller and had more speed.

True, kinda. he was fighting lesser comp than a frazier, ali or norton. he did KO George Chuvalo, who though not a great boxer, could take a punch like no other. he also defeated Peralta twice, also not a great boxer, but a smart fighter and more of challenge than a taurus sykes

he was fighting much better comp than peter has at this point.

Williams would never step back in the ring with Peter, and for that matter any other top flite competition.

You say Foreman was not that big in his first career, you could not be more wrong.

the defintion of "big" in the heavyweight division has changed drastically since the 70's.

In his first career, George Forman was bigger and physically more dominant than all the other premier heavies. he was taller, he was stronger, 250 pounders were unheard of at the highest level.

Foreman wouyld literally push people around the ring. it would be interesting to see how young george would be refereed in this day in age, chances are his style wouldve been made to drastically change.

he would not have been able to push the new age of heavyweight around. imagine his trying to shove 6'7 250 lb vitali out of the way like he was joe frazier.

all in all i guess my point is this.

though Sam Peter is literally bigger than the early george foreman, he isnt actually as big because the size of heavys has grown so much....
