Tis true. Mayweather is ALWAYS in a lose lose situation. Want to know why? Because he is hands down the best fighter of our generation. He could fight the fighter of the decade, pound for pound best fighter, 7 division champion Manny Pacquiao and he would STILL be the favorite to win. He could fight the lineal 160lb champion Sergio Martinez and he would STILL be the favorite to win. He fought Shane Mosley who was regarded by many as the toughest guy in the division and best welterweight and he was STILL the favorite.
Haha History always repeats itself

It doesn't help that Floyd already discredits his opponents before they even fight. Then Floyd and his fans get all mad when people say the same things he was saying before he beat his opponents. He talked about how Cotto and Vernon already ****ed Mosely up in 24/7. He's been calling Pac one dimensional and said hes an amateur. The if he wins and people discredit Floyd, he'll start giving Manny his props saying he was the best fighter, blah blah. Case in point, Floyd doesn't necessarily help his case with his mouth.Last edited by KnockoutKings; 07-12-2010, 09:51 AM.Comment

That or they will say that Mayweather is a ***** for not traveling back in time and fighting Sugar Ray Robinson. "He needs SRR to secure his legacy" "Gayweather is ducking time travel"...Comment

give me a break, the obvious top 2 fighters in the world are fighting in the same weight class, of course theyre obligated to fight one another.
If the fight never happens(which it probably will anyway), then its both of their faults, no excuses for either side.
are you guys really boxing fans? If you really like Floyd, then you should be upset if he never gets to fight in one of the biggest fights of his career.Comment
