      Very worthy fight.
      Winner should fight Hasegawa.

Hasegawa should fight Mares, Agbeko or Perez while he waits.

Off topic: If 118 wasn't so stacked, Mares would've been a champion by now (though I did think he edged out Perez).

Asking a young prospect (what is he like 22-23?) to try to get a title from fighters like Perez, Montiel, and/or Moreno is a lot.

Back on topic: Montiel-Donaire seems like a tossup fight right now, after I break down styles I can make a prediction. Seems like it'll be a high pace chess match.

              Completely agree.

I believe Mares edged Perez as well.

I went into that fight a Perez fan and became a Mares fan at the end.(I'd never seen him fight before)

118 is just insane for anyone right now to dominate.

Last man standing will be a real P4P great.

              If anyone is left standing....

I want to see Hozumi-Montiel II first. I don't want Montiel to possibly lose the belt before rematching Hasegawa.

you wanna see hasegawa get wrecked for the second time?

in any event i have montiel beating both nonito and hasegawa

He isn't going to get stopped in a rematch.

He was winning until he tried to exchange. Now that he isn't the champ, he doesn't have to fight like a champ. He will fix what he did wrong and can simply do what works and cruise to a decision.

                  REMATCH!!!

What smaler guys? If he can make a lower weight good for him, but why should he go up several weight classes and like 12 pounds?

Its called weight classes and if he and his opponent can both make 115, then it shouldnt matter how much weight he had to cut

Its like saying pual williams needs to forget about WW just becauaes he is bigger then them. But thats not how it works
