Why is every fight a fantasy fight?

Why do Floyd Mayweather fans make threads about how Floyd would beat this guy, about how Floyd would beat that guy? Floyd would beat Cotto, Floyd would beat Paul Williams, Floyd would beat Pacman, Martinez etc etc etc? Why doesn't he fight them in real life? Anyone enlighten me? Or is a fantasy world the World you want to live in?

Thats just how professional sports are. Its not about the actual competition but the debate and name calling that ensues at the thought of two of the best going at it. Could you imagine what it would be like if at the end of the season the 2 best football teams played each other? or what if they did that in basketball, hockey or baseball? If they actually allowed the two biggest draws in those sports to face each other, there'd be no excitement.

I think its best that all superstars of any sport not face an adversity.
