How much of Floyd's style is based on speed? The leaping hook, the jab to the body, the pull-counter, etc.

Floyd's style is based on timing and ring intelligence. Even a relatively slow fighter can do it.

^^^^ Pretty much this.
Floyd at 130 and 135 relied more on speed than Floyd now-a-days.
