Hearns made the mistake of tradin'; should have just boxed his way to a victory.

Hearns was trying to box his way to victory.Leonard had him on the run since the eighth round.Hearns got stopped,not because he "made the mistake of tradin" but because he got hurt and was left in there with one of the most ruthless finishers of the last thirty years.

I dont. Leonard only won about 2 or 3 rounds, and apart from Hearns getting rocked once, the guy was in control.

and that was even a Hearns that weighed in at 145lbs. that probably didnt help his stamina much, its obvious the guy had trouble making weight

while Im at it, I think that Hearns could most likely beat any 154lber in the history of boxing as well, even in a 15 round fight.

the only one that could challenge him is McCallum...whos body work and overall expertise would pose a big threat to Hearns in the late rounds of the fight.

McCallum would break Hearns down and stop him and Julian Jackson would K.O Hearns if he landed, that fight would be a complete 50-50 fight, first one to land wins.

Sugar ray Robinson was the best, lost only 1 by KO in 202 fights, won 175 (108 KO) i see no one beating SRR in the welterweight. Jimmy Doyle who was 43-6 got killed by one left hook from SRR in a world welterweight title fight...
