If he does so be it..AT LEAST he made the weight of 147 and did not create or abide to a catchweight.
As for Verno and Mitchell, its your opinion that no one cared about those fights.
As for heights Manny Pac.(5'6 and a half)Verno and Sharmba(5'7") If a half an inch is "considerably bigger" then your girlfriend has been lieing to you.

Floyd and Pac should step up....or should Cotto get his ass kicked by PW and show how the warriors do it again?
I don't see Pac, Floyd, Marg (again), or Cotto fighting Paul, but if anyone fights him in the future, it'll be Cotto. Btw, the money excuse seems to solve all problems for these fighters now days.

Worst choice of options in a poll ever.

I'm all for Manny facing anyone at 147 including Williams but the options make me wonder

          1) Face the best like all the rest without limits

A lot of fighters at 147 have avoided Williams so if Manny does like the rest of them then he shouldn't even fight Williams. Example, Floyd never fought Williams.

Also, Williams hasn't fought as a WW in about 2.5 years to prove he can still be one of the best at WW. Meaning, Manny doesn't want to hear haters say, he beat a weight drained Williams that belongs at 154-160 only.

Manny, for the most part has faced the top players in his divisions.

          2) Special treatment and let him pick those closer in size

Manny fought 3 tough guys at WW and was hoping to fight Floyd as his 4th. What special treatment did Manny get? Did Manny ask to fight people in lower divisions while at WW? Example, fight Marquez and Hatton at 147? No!

          3) catch-weights.....

Some people are making it sound like all of Manny's fights have had catch-weights but that is not true ..... even when Pacquiao fought 3 guys at 147 division.
          a) The first time Manny fought at 147, Manny had to move up 2 divisions to do it and was one fight away from moving up 3 divisions. Wasn't easy task for Manny either.
          b) When Manny fought Cotto, it was only his 2nd fight at WW and Cotto was only asked to go down to 145
          c) After Manny's 2nd fight at WW, Manny felt more comfortable and confident that he can fight at WW and fought his 3rd fight at 147
          d) Fight with Floyd was to be at 147 also.

While I don't see this fight happening, I don't believe he would ask anyone at WW for a catch-weight or any other special treatment.

            Williams owes Martinez a rematch.

He shouldn't even be thinking about fighting Pac.

Going from a Mayweather fight to a Williams fight is like going from a Big Mac to a Whopper Jr.

A lot of risk for very little money. Williams hasn't had a single PPV yet.

I'd love to see Pac fight Williams, but financially there's no incentive.

Also, Floyd is a joke and OP has double standards with this thread.

Eh, I'd rather see him fight PDub than a needless Cotto rematch at a catchweight yet AGAIN, or another guy like Clottey. But can Williams even make welterweight anymore? Would it be another catchweight fight? More comical stipulations?

I'm not very interested in all the conditions and stipulations anymore. Fight like everyone else does or just shut the **** up and go home.

              That goes for Floyd too.

How can Paul Williams expect to get a fight with Pacquiao? Paul Williams isn't a draw, isn't a Bob Arum fighter, and hasn't done anything to make himself relevant at 147. If he wants a fight with Pacquiao (or Mayweather), he needs to at least get a win against someone like Berto or Mosley and prove that he can still be one of the best fighters at welterweight. If he doesn't do that then Pacquiao has absolutely no reason to fight him.

Why not, Williams ain't **** and if they can drain him even further and he gonna let him, fine. Somebody gonna posterize his ass sooner or later anyway.

I saw a lot of Floyd fans jumping to Williams bandwagon. This fight will look like this.

Well i would certainly favor Pac fight PWill despite the odds because even if Pac losses or get beaten to a pulp, it would just prove the midget has cojones than the fraudulent floyd mayweather.

Floyd will never ever fight a PWill and is now even trying to evade facing the midget Pac in the ring.

That in a nutshell is the true story. A fraud.
