Winky isnt fighting no Simms...It isnt even official that Winky will move back down to 154.

Winky is waiting to see who wins the Hopkins vs Taylor fight, although there is an immediate rematch clause if Taylor wins Winky will probably enforce that number 1 contender spot.

If Winky does decide to move to 154 the most likely matchup will be against the winner of the Mayorga vs Piccirillo fight or the Vargas vs Castellijo.

Santos and Spinks are already involved in setting up a match for this fall and those are the likely fighters Winky will get his hands on.

A fight I wouldnt mind seeing would be Winky vs Sturm, great test for both fighters really and they match up really well. Very competitive fight from both sides.

I think that would be a great tactical fight.

I would love a Wright/Ouma matchup. I wonder how Winky would deal with a guy who goes nonstop for 12 rounds. I'd also be interested to see how Ouma deals with Wrights jab and reach advantages.

I dont believe Ouma is the same fighter as he once was. I dont think he is as active and Winky could neutralize him the same way he did against Winky. Plus I dont think Ouma is a very hard hitter either.

I would definately be interested in seeing it and seeing how it would play out, but I think Winky might be to much for him.

man, I jest wish Winky got sum killa instinct in him. He would be unstoppable. It's probably the reason I think Tayler would beat him. Boxing skills, wit definite powa aint easy to cope wit nah mean?

What evidence is there for that claim though? Wasn't his complete domination of Jantuah evidence enough of him still being a very active and hungry fighter? He's fought pretty damned good competition for the limited number of fights he's been in. Bunema and Toygonbayev in his 11th&12th fights, Phillips x2, Candelo and Jantuah in just 24 fights.

I don't think Ouma would have any respect for Wrights jab and would eat as many as it took to get to him and use his excellent infighting skills. I seriously don't think that theres a more dangerous fighter in boxing than Ouma right now.

From what we've seen he has excellent stamina, a very good chin, an incredible workrate, throws punches in combination well, and the greatest thing he possesses is his infighting ability. The way he uses those sharp little uppercuts and hooks on the inside is a beautiful thing to watch. Would you disagree with anything here?

Also, Wright HAS faded down the stretch of some of his big fights (Vargas for example, also a little bit in the second Mosely fight) and Ouma's workrate would wear him out in my estimation. I think he'd take a close but decisive 7-5 UD over Wright.

EDIT: I agree about him not being a very hard puncher, but I think he is an efficient puncher. Mosely wasn't exactly a monsterous puncher at 154 either but he could still get Winkys attention when he landed punches in bunches.
