this is really good why?cuz mayorga brings the best out of the fighters with his prefight comments he heats them up bad.so we'l see a angry chavez in that fight it'l be fun to watch i think mayorg ais a bigger puncher than duddy but i dont know what he has left since almost 2 years off

I really like the Mayorga vs Chavez fights. I don't know how much Mayorga has left but the pre fight trash talking would be hilarious. He has a lot of material to work with.

In the ring though it might be a different story. Jr. seems to have inherited his pops whiskers, if Roach gets him to use his jab consistently like he wants, I don't think Mayorga will be able to deal with that too well.


If Barrera's going to face Soto afterward, Jesus Chavez would be a better pick. Diaz has 3 things going for him though: strength, heart, and a southpaw stance. If this is just to see at what level Barrera is still at and not prepare him for Soto too, then this is a good pick.

Mayorga will gas and get stopped,he'll swing for the fences in the first couple of rounds though. Should be entertaining.

Maybe Showtime would buy this fight as a Sho-Box.. I think the trash talking of Mayorga will be better than his fighting. But Mayorga was beating Mosley before Mosley shockingly KO'd him.. So this would be a good fight for Jr. Also, if MAB wants a title shot, he should stay away from David Diaz, who I think has too much left for Marco, but it would be fun to watch, no doubt....
