He been fighting tougher guys at a the same or higher weight class.

It should be a good fight since both started at 112. They are about the same size and both have good power

Donaire can outbox montiel but he needs to keep his hands up. Fight could easily go either way.

Montiel is sloppy and likes to clown and act a fool. He's fast with pretty good power and movement, but Donaire will just be too slick for him, unless he gets ****y and sloppy himself (which can happen).

I chose Donaire by UD.

I got Donaire vs UD. I think as long as he doesn't get caught with anything ****** then he can when. He's defense, even when he went to orthodox, against Marquez was a little suspect IMO....but this is the deciding factor. If I was putting a gameplan for Nonito it would be to stick and move, be catious and counter.

I could see this fight going either way. Donaire could outbox Montiel and get a UD but Montiel could tag him with that left hook and that's all she wrote.

He cannot get careless against Montiel. Just look at what happened to Hasegawa
