I think he tried to get room to punch, but Juanma was just landing the better punches and was the much better boxer. Besides the flash knock down he was owning that fight.

Once a fighter gets hit,he reverts to his natural way of fighting.U dont just get into the dressing room utter some few tactics and call it a gameplan.You have to repeat the thing so many times in the gym so that it becomes a natural way of fighting.
