Gomez has no pop and Hatton just isnt anything special to me. N'dou is always a good test for anybody so i agree with you there But Collazo is a bottom half of the top 10 kinda guy, who can box and is tough and I think that would be a better all around test than those guys.

I dont think its too much too soon in this case

and a Collazo fight could be a cool llittle addition to the Puerto Rico/Mexico rivalry. Not on as big a scale of course but still.

That would be an awesome fight.

Though I believe Collazo is big step up from JM Cotto or Cuello.

Though Collazo may be rusty and he hasn't fought in while.

You think Canelo is as good or better than Berto or Jones?

This would be the best test for him. Arum wouldn't allow the Gomez fight to
happen. N'Dou isn't much better than Matt Hatton at this point, but he's taken the best shots of guys like Cintron for 12 rounds. If he could somehow stop him then that would be great. The IBO belt ain't worth much, but a belt is a belt.

The only problem is that Randall Bailey would be his mandatory, and that's DEFINITELY not the direction he wants to go at least before he hits 22 or 23. Bailey would flatten him after making him do the chicken dance at this point.

I Think he's right around where Mike Jones is and a little lower than Berto.
I felt Collazo Pushed Berto to the max and that Canelo could hurt him bad with those hooks but I would still favor Berto right now.

I honestly believe he can hang with those dudes right now. Hes obviously no defensive wizard but hes a BIG kid and he can **** and I think he competes with Berto, Jones and Collazo right now. Stylistically I think he Can Punish Collazo to a Late stoppage, Toss-Up with Mike Jones and gets stopped Late or loses a competitive decision to Berto.
We'll see where they go from here but the kid is Exciting

By next year alvarez will be going after the wbc belt.So alvarez will be
more polished by then.A fight against collazo would be a mistake.Collazo
is a slick southpaw fighter with a solid chin,Which alvarez has never faced. But alvarez may have the power to put berto to sleep,With bertos
suspect chin, But alvarez chin is still suspect himself.

I was also impressed by his maturity, he's only 19 years old and he uses the jab like Wladimir bloody Klitschko. He made pizza-face of Cuello
