The injury suffered by WBO-interim bantamweight champion Eric Morel is no longer undisclosed. The Puerto Rican fighter says that he injured his right leg during a run and his doctor told him to stay off his feet for 22-days, which led him to withdraw from the fight with WBO full champion Fernando Montiel.

This guy has went out of his way to duck fights. First Donaire, and now this. Fuck him. At least there's an argument that Donaire and Lopez may not fight certain guys because Arum don't want them to. But Morel is a joke because he doesn't even deserve a shot at a big name. I'm not happy Arce got injured either, but I'm happy that it screwed this c**** out of a big payday against a shot fighter and it stopped Arce's quest for a fourth belt because of the fashion he had been winning them. Morel should've lost against Penalosa anyway.
