So? It's their fault also for signing a contract without knowing how much HBO paid for the fight. A real smart fighter would've known for the start before signing the contract about the purse and how much HBO paid for the fight.

First of all...nobody has the connections and financial backing that Bob Arum has...most of these boxers aren't "stars", just a handful. Arum jumps through hoops to maneuver his guys into the best possible position. If Arum wants you to be a champ, you will be a champ. If Arum wants you a #1 contender...you will be a #1 contender. These guys need Arum and that's how he can justify his price tag...I'm not saying it makes it wrong or right, all I'm saying, is when Arum identifies talent, he will get you from point Z to A. He's shady as ****, but I think its pretty undeniable that he looks out for his stable (until they leave). Arum is the biggest power player in boxing. I think its naive to say an overwhelming majority of C, B and some A class boxers don't need Arum (or other promoters like GBP). That 27% covers more than just Arum...he's got to fill other pockets too that allow him to run the way he does.

As for you...you have no idea what they guys were either promised or advised of. We have no idea what Campbell or Ortiz were aware of...these guys are mid-tier, they aren't privy to any behind the doors conversations with people like Ross Greenburg. We can't make an informed conclusion about what these boxers were told. The only thing we now know is that the NYSC found something dirty in the books and have taken action

Do you have proof GBP or someone in their camp paid the judges? I sure you can find proof Arum was under investigation with the FBI for what he did.

I think Paulie won the first fight, but you don't have proof GBP paid the judges like Arum.
