No, they weren't told that. They were told they were getting what they were paid but the accountants put down in the books that they paid the fighters 700,000 dollars and pocketed the other 500K. The fighters got paid what they were supposed to but for accounting purposes GBP said they paid the fighters a whole lot more when the did not do so

Because they were never told what HBO was paying them. That was kept from them. Then according to the NYSC, Golden Boy told them that their purses were 125,000 and 100,000, instead of splitting the 750,000 that was offered and given.
